Update on my dog's surgery!

Hey guys! I posted a journal about two weeks ago about my dog getting oral surgery (you can read the original journal below), so I wanted to update everyone on how he's been doing since then =]

And he's been doing WONDERFUL! Practically the day after having surgery, he was back to his old self. He hasn't shown ANY signs of being in any pain at all, so I'm so thankful for that The recovery process has been spectacular. And in addition to all those wonderful things, we also found out that he really enjoys having mushy food! Like... a lot. The first night I prepared it for him (the day of his surgery), he actually perked up enough to start barking when he smelled it - granted, I did sprinkle a treat in there the first couple times ;] BUT! I never used to be able to get him to eat at normal hours, so now we're actually on a nice little schedule.

Thank you so much to everyone who was able to help out with the funds And even those who were not able to, I still appreciate the thoughts and prayers. It really meant a lot to me and has really made a difference

Hi everyone,

So I have a bit of sad news. I have a 13 year old Pomeranian named Teddy, who has been having some problems with his mouth. He went into the vet today to get his teeth cleaned (which is already pretty scary, since he had to go under anesthesia for it), and it ended up being that he had to have TEN teeth pulled. I knew that there was at least one tooth that was bothering him, but TEN?

I don't know how much the procedure will cost in total yet, but from some estimates that were previously done, it could be over $800. It is worth every single penny if it means his mouth won't be hurting him anymore, but it will be tough to pay for it all. I don't really like talking about financial issues publicly, but money is pretty tight right now.
