This pendant has sold. If you're interested in something similar, please note me! =]

I've had the idea to make a Yin and Yang themed tree in my head for a couple months, now. I actually had the base for this sitting around for a couple months as well, and was going to throw it out because I just wasn't sure about it lol. There's a little bulge at the bottom where I connected the two different colored wires together, and that's the part I was most worried about. It seems to blend a little bit better after putting the tree on though. All in all, I'm not really sure how I feel about this design yet - it's so different and unusual lol, but I hope everyone enjoys ^.^ I used Black Tourmaline and Howlite for the leaves.

The Tree of Life symbolizes spiritual growth and wisdom, strength, protection, and connectedness. It is a healthy model that inspires the spirit and encourages hope in all hearts.

These are delicate, wire wrapped pendants that should be handled with care. Some of the stones, glass, or shells used to create the tree can break if handled roughly.

This is fantastic! Very gorgeous necklace, I absolutely love that you combined the theme of the tree of life to the principle of Dao, its a perfect combination that gives even more meaning than one principle alone, I think.   Love the way there is light and dark wire incorporated into the design; the white and black stones are gorgeous as well.  If I have some extra money,I might just have to purchase it I like it that much hahaha  About what size is the pendant diameter wise though?

Aww thank you so much ^.^ I was a bit worried about it for various reasons, so I'm glad people seem to be liking it. I thought incorporating the yin and yang symbolism with the tree of life was a neat concept, and something that would mean something different to each person - not to mention, I've always loved the symbolism of the yin and yang.

Everyone always asks me that... I really should just automatically start putting the measurements in my description x_x lol. It's about 2 1/2 inches across at the widest area (which seems big when you just look at a measuring tape, but it's really not) and about 3 inches tall, including the bail. People tend to like smaller sized ones, but I like the the bigger ones so that's what I usually make, unless someone requests otherwise =]

hahhaa I bet it is a common question.  I bet the larger size is much easier to work with, not to mention make the design look less crowded and more intricate.  I'm a small person though so if I wear big pendants it looks silly, or like I'm trying to be T-pain or something hahahhaha It's still does not sound horribly big.  Hopefully I am able to procure some money to purchase it or another of your pendants some day.

Lol yeah, much easier to work with. However, I did happen to make some tiny quarter-sized tree of life earrings the other day by special request. It was a bit of an experiment so they didn't turn out perfectly, but at least I know I'm capable of making smaller ones haha.

I understand that xD And okay! Well, in the future if and when you decide you want one, I can always make a smaller size for you =] It would probably be cheaper, too.

That sounds really hard! I remember trying to make dreamcatcher earrings for my mom as a kid that were about that size, and it was hard to weave hahaha
And that sounds great, getting one later on! Would you be able to make it with different type of stones for the tree as well if it was custom made?

Lol wow, yeah I bet it was! I've tried making wire-wrapped dream catcher pendants buttttt none of them have turned out haha. BUT I do plan to practice them a bit more, when I feel I have money to waste some wire lol.

Yes, of course! Unless for some reason I can't obtain the kind of stone you want. Which ones were you thinking?

It would be neat to see dreamcatchers integrated with the tree of life, hopefully you get some money to waste on wire! hhahaha
And I like the black tourmaline for the darker side, but instead of the white stone you used for this version ,would it be feasible to use rainbow moonstone beads/chips?  I just think it would look really neat with those two together ahaha

Rainbow moonstone was actually what I was originally going to use for it haha. But because moonstone is more translucent and the black tourmaline is not, I figured the howlite might look a little bit better, because the tourmaline would probably look really bold next to the moonstone and might have overshadowed it.

However, rainbow moonstone often has chunks of black tourmaline in it naturally (the larger pieces) and still looks nice together i.ebayimg.com/t/RAINBOW-MOONST… There's a link for you in case you want to see xD

But yeah! If rainbow moonstone is what you want, then rainbow moonstone is what you shall get! ^.^
