So... I know I just did a four seasons pendant lol, but I just had to use that idea on this one as well. A couple months back, I had a customer who wanted me to make a couple of Mother Nature themed pendants. It was my first time doing anything like that, so I wasn't able to do them very elaborate, and I wanted to expand on the idea.

I was playing around with my wire - twisting it and bending it - and it just randomly came together in a nest shape. I thought, "Oh cool, I'll stick a tree inside of this and it can be like Mother Nature."

Originally, I hadn't planned on putting a woman-shaped tree inside - that was a detail I added afterwards when just a regular tree just wasn't special enough lol.

Her arms/branches are meant to look like wings (like a mother bird inside a nest) and inside her stomach are three tiny seed beads meant to represent eggs. I decorated the branches with the colors of the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter - to really bring the "Mother Nature" concept together. I hope everyone likes it!

Oxidized creations bear no protective coating or false coloring of wire. This pendant will continue to tarnish and naturally change through the years.

The Tree of Life symbolizes spiritual growth and wisdom, strength, protection, and connectedness. It is a healthy model that inspires the spirit and encourages hope in all hearts.

These are delicate, wire wrapped pendants that should be handled with care. Some of the stones, glass, or shells used to create the tree can break if handled roughly.

I just finished my first attempt at one of the Tree of Life pendants with the woman as the tree, but I'm very impressed with this one! You did a gorgeous job, I'm in awe over how you managed to get the the outside edge to look tangly and natural, but not so much so that it takes away from the piece. And the nest is such a perfect symbol to go along with the whole thing. Love!! I'm surprised you haven't sold this yet!
